How a session works

Pick a language and a level

Beginner, Basics, or Intermediate — choose the language you're practicing and the one you're most comfortable explaining yourself in.

Press Talk, or just type

Speak into your mic and your words are transcribed automatically, or type in the box and hit Send — both work the whole session.

Hear your tutor reply out loud

Your tutor answers in character, corrects mistakes gently, introduces new vocabulary, and speaks its reply back to you.
